I've been reading about Hogwarts and the houses and thinking about which ones I might be sorted into. I have it narrowed down to two, though I'm still not sure which one it will be. I guess I might have to figure it out when I get there and am actually sorted. I just don't want to wait that long to figure it out.
Other than that, my birthday was decent. I got a few birthday greetings and some birthday presents from my parents and a couple of other people. |

I'm finally fourteen. I know it doesn't change much. People still see me as a child, though I disagree with them, but I'm a year closer to not being a child anymore and that's what counts. I'm a year older than I was say, yesterday or two days ago When I met Chad. In person. That was a little strange. That makes a little difference, to me anyway. I expect I will still be treated as a child by most as unfair as it is, but I'm sort of used to it. I am, after all, the baby of the family.
Maybe one day I'll be treated like an adult. When I'm twenty, or married like Fleur. |

I'm glad to be in England finally, it's lovely here. I do miss France already, but I'm sure I'll get used to being away. After all, this isn't the first time I've spent any length of time away from home. Of course my parents were around last time, but now I'm almost fourteen so I should be able to handle being away.
Victoire is beautiful, I'm glad to have finally gotten to meet her. I've been helping to take care of her, but of course I'm not allowed to hold her. I'm not even sure Bill is yet, I think I saw him hold her once and Fleur remained very close the whole time.
Fleur welcomed me happily, but I'm not sure what Bill thinks of me being here. He seems to have a lot on his mind, these days though. I just hope I'm not intruding. |

I'm so excited.
Everything's worked out for me to go to England for the summer. I finally get to meet my niece! I'll bet she's lovely. I really can't wait. I'll get to see Fleur too, of course. I've missed her so much!
Maman also told me that she's going to see about transferring me to Hogwarts next year so that I can stay in England. I get the slight feeling that they're trying to get rid of me. It's been so lonely here without Fleur, though so I don't really mind. |
